Ah, apologies for the long sabbatical.
I've been busy with exams and the such.
When will I learn it's much more difficult to cram an entire unit's worth of information into one night, than it is to learn the material over an entire semester.
Maybe it comes with maturity.
In that case though, I may never learn.
I'm trialling a life update.
Little things that are happening in my life that are on my mind.
So - here we go.
Quick life update -
It's now holiday-time!
And I can finally catch up with my hobbies and the like that I've pushed aside in order to concentrate/catch up with my studies.
Also thinking I should set some goals and make lists of the activities and things I'd like to accomplish this holidays.
Items on my mind.
Item 1: Skydiving!
Hopefully going sometime soon.
So excited that I've been having recurring dreams of falling out of planes.
Rather than being afraid, I'm incredibly excited.
There's something so stomach-churning (in a good way) about free falling from 14,000ft.
I'm getting sick with anticipation.
Adrenaline is so undeniably addictive.
Item 2 on my mind: China and Hong Kong.
Going away to China and Hong Kong with family.
I've already armed myself with a Nintendo DSi and a more portable laptop to deal with the possible boredom that comes with going on a tour that will be entirely in Cantonese and the occasional Mandarin translation.
So, already planning on blog-updates and twitter-updates of my thoughts as I traipse around both China and Hong Kong.
Not looking forward to: Possible organ smugglers. I'm quite attached to all my organs and I'd like them to stay where they are. Call me selfish but I like having 2 kidneys.
Looking forward to: Dimsum in Hong Kong. The birth-place of Dim Sum is Hong Kong (I think) and I'm so veryvery excited about it. I already love the Dim Sum in Perth, how am I going to deal with the awesome-ness that is Dim Sum in Hong Kong.
Those are the 2 main items on my mind.
And that's my first attempt at a Quick Life Update.
Signing off, Generally Jennifer.
Jennifun Fact: Latest fashion-craze in Perth: Reversible sequins. While I was window-shopping in our bustling-City Central on Hay St and Murray St, I must have seen sequins on everything.
Shoes, Dresses, Blazers, Skirts, Tops. Everything.
The same could be said with floral-prints. Though I'm a bit more lenient with florals. It must be the warm weather that's been persuading me.
