I seem to have a bad habit of procrastinating. Maybe I should do something about it. Or maybe I'll just do that some other time...
Blog updates are sporadic - Twitter is a much easier method of venting.
140 characters or less of random thoughts.

Onto my topic of today's post.
Generation Y and our Narcissism.
As a member of Generation Y, I've noticed our unabashed nature of letting people know certain aspects of our life.
For example, Facebook and its status updates.
Eg. Individual - Am currently waiting in line at XX!
Yes. I do care that you're waiting in line at XX.
I care even more that -
Eg. Individual - Am STILL waiting in line at XX!
Our presumptions that people care about what we think/do/eat/drink is also amusing.
For example, Twitter and its micro-blogging updates.
Eg. Individual - Am eating cheezels ! Nomnomnom.
Yes. I care that you are eating cheezels. I care muchly.
Sarcasm is intended. Though I suppose sarcasm doesn't come across quite as well in text.
And there's not quite the same effect if a "*cue sarcasm" is used.
However, I do suppose I should acknowledge that I myself am a member of this unashamed population -
Yes! I eat cheezels and I like them. and I do wait in lines.
But, I do try to make my Twitter posts a little less meaningless than quick updates of my adoration of Cheezels.
So yes, it amuses me that I think that people care about my vents-of-the-day.
Or how members of this Generation Y are so narcissistic in that we believe the faceless individuals of the internet read these oh,so,meaningful blogs.
I do think that there are a lot more social networks or methods in which people use to advertise their lives and the awesome-ness or lack of awesome-ness in their lives.
Not enough time to research though, I think I'll stick to Twitter, Facebook and this little blog.
Signing off, GenerallyJennifer.

A Jennifun fact for you: I think I could have been a better Dark Lord than Lord Voldemort. How hard could it have been, killing off Harry Potter.
He's particularly susceptible to Wizard Angst.
